February 2, 2016 Time to Smile
Take a minute and watch this story about a very special little boy.
Creative CarnivalsIt’s getting to be that time of year again, when several local schools are already getting underway, and kids are headed back to the classrooms.
Although some people might agree that this seems way too early to go back to school (especially the kids), we think it’s a great time to start planning those back-to-school carnivals, and we are ready to help.
Many parents like getting involved with the PTA groups at their kids’ schools so they can help plan events such as carnivals and fundraisers, but they might not have any idea how to go about getting one started. We’ve been doing carnivals professionally for twenty-four years, so you know you can trust us to help make your school carnival a huge success. With the early start dates, these schools are at a little more of an advantage than the other schools that follow a more traditional schedule, because after this month, we get very busy and might find it more of a challenge to accommodate
everyone’s schedules.
The best things about using someone local to plan a fundraising event (like a carnival) are that we understand the area, we are more personable than an internet connection, and the kids enjoy doing carnivals more than trying to sell something to family, friends, and neighbors. Carnivals are also a lot safer and less time consuming than door-to-door sales, as well as more convenient because we do all the work, from the initial planning to cleaning up after ourselves. Letting us help you plan a school carnival is also a great way to get parents and teachers involved with things like: Give us a call when you’re ready to get your event started, and we’ll take all the work out of the planning, running, and cleanup so you can put your attention on having fun and taking care of the kids. Avoid the “Human Soup”
We might start out with a great and wonderful plan to take the whole family to one of these water attractions (or even the beach), but sometimes it doesn’t work out like we imagine it will. What you end up with might look something like this: %u25CF The pool is so crowded that you aren’t able to move around, and you end up staying in one spot (usually in the kiddie pool or on the lounge chairs) because actually swimming is completely impossible. %u25CF Long and never-ending lines at the waterpark, where you’re only able to actually enjoy the slides for about five turns before the day is gone and it’s time to go home. Not to mention the complete exhaustion after climbing all those stairs! %u25CF Water at the lake ends up so dirty because there are no filtration or cleaning systems in place, which causes the whole lake to be quarantined due to a bacterial outbreak of some kind (this can also happen at public swimming pools and water parks, although it is less common). Whichever option you choose, you end up swimming in a proverbial “human soup,” with hundreds of strangers all sharing the same stale water in the hot summer sun. Yuck! Instead of risking the crowded pools, long lines, or contaminated water, you could enjoy hours (even days) of fun by creating a custom waterpark in the comfort of your very own backyard. We offer over twenty different kinds of inflatables, as well as packages where you can mix and match the ones that work best for you and your family.
To add an extra bonus to the fun and feel of a real water park adventure, we offer snow cone, cotton candy, and popcorn machines.
So don’t risk that “human soup” scenario with the crowded pools and public parks; give us a call to set up your backyard water park today—we also offer multi-day and weekend options at great rates. Come play with us! Jim and Laurie Prendergast
July 11, 2015 We Know How to Keep Cool
If you’ve ever been to Phoenix, Arizona, you might know that it stays pretty warm here all year ‘round, but the summer months can become exceptionally warm, with triple digits starting in June and staying well into late August. Timing Is KeyPart of knowing how to stay nice and cool during the hottest time of year is also knowing what time of the day is ideal and when it’s best to keep the activities inside rather than braving the heat outdoors.Because our business is so versatile, we’re able to accommodate any time of the day, and we’ve learned from experience the best times to recommend for those activities you want for your party. For instance, although the animals are used to being outside, during the summer months, we can reduce the stress on them and your guests by avoiding the hottest part of the day. The most ideal time to have a petting zoo or pony rides is to plan an early morning start or schedule the animals in the evening once it begins to cool down. If the animals are comfortable and have shade, they’re much more fun for your kids and their friends to interact with. The same idea goes for some of the equipment rentals: A few weeks ago, one of our customers’ kids, April B. from Chandler, really wanted the “Knock Your Block Off” game and it was already over a hundred degrees outside. Inside that suit would be a lot hotter!
April had the brilliant idea of turning her home into a “castle” where she was able to move around some of her furniture and the “knights” could do battle in an air-conditioned environment without getting overheated.
While most of our rental items are designed for the outdoors, all of our entertainers can perform their talents both inside and out. So, if there’s a particular time of day you really want to schedule your event and there’s an activity you have your heart set on, we can often move the activity inside or make suggestions for a similar activity that might work even better in order to make it fun for everyone. Too Many to Choose FromThe hardest part about scheduling your event with us won’t be deciding when to schedule your event, but what you’re going to do at your party. Some of the fun options that we recommend for these hot summer days are any of our games and rentals that involve playing in the water, such as: %u25CF Palm Tree Plunge%u25CF Hydro Blaster (Water Balloon Race)%u25CF Water Tunnel%u25CF Water Slides%u25CF Giant Slip n Slides%u25CF Dunk Tanks%u25CF Paddle Boats (with or without Lagoon)We also have lots of inflatable games, bounce houses, carnival rides, a giant inflatable movie screen (for those late-night slumber parties), a mechanical bull, and a climbing wall, which can all be set up for use during the cooler parts of the day—or, if you have a large space available, we can set them up indoors.
You just let us know what you have in mind for your special event, and we’ll work with you to make it happen.
If you need some unique and fun ideas for your get-together, we can offer you so many that you’ll have to schedule several parties just so you can do them all! We look forward to making your event unforgettable. Come play with us! Jim and Laurie Prendergast |

Here's what some of our customers have recently had to say about us:
Shannon P. 03/05/15 I was happy to find that you had the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle bounce house that my 6 year-old really wanted for his birthday party. Also, the gentleman who came to set up the bounce house was very friendly, professional, and made sure I knew what to do in case of an emergency.
